Effective date: 15 March 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the website of Urgent Mobile Tyres and the supply of our mobile tyre fitting, roadside assistance, battery support, puncture repair, locking wheel nut removal, van tyre fitting, and related services.

By using this website, requesting a quote, booking a service, or asking us to attend your location, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Our Services

We provide mobile vehicle support services including, where available:

  • Mobile tyre fitting
  • Emergency tyre replacement
  • Puncture inspection and repair where safe and suitable
  • Battery support and jump start assistance
  • Locking wheel nut removal
  • TPMS-related support
  • Van and light commercial tyre fitting
  • Related roadside assistance services that we agree to provide

All services are subject to availability, location, vehicle type, weather, road conditions, stock availability, safety requirements, and technician assessment.

3. Service Area

Our core service area includes Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Essex. Availability may vary depending on postcode, traffic, road conditions, vehicle type, stock, time of day, and other operational factors.

Any estimated attendance time is an estimate only and is not a guaranteed arrival time.

4. Quotes and Pricing

Any quote we provide is based on the information available at the time and may be subject to change if:

  • The tyre size, specification, speed rating, or load rating differs from the information provided
  • The vehicle, wheel, locking wheel nut, or condition is different from what was described
  • Additional work, parts, travel, or time is required
  • The booking location changes
  • There are issues beyond our reasonable control

We aim to provide clear pricing before work starts. Where the final price differs from the original quote, we will explain the reason before proceeding wherever reasonably possible.

5. Bookings and Appointments

A booking is only confirmed when we accept your request. We may refuse or cancel a booking where reasonably necessary, including for safety, stock, access, abuse, incorrect information, or operational limitations.

You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • The booking details you provide are accurate
  • The vehicle is at the stated location
  • It is lawful and safe for us to attend and carry out the work
  • The technician has suitable access to the vehicle
  • You have authority to approve the work and payment

6. Attendance Times

Any stated response time or ETA, including references such as 45–60 minutes, is an estimate only. Traffic, weather, accidents, stock availability, previous jobs, unsafe working conditions, and other factors may affect attendance times.

7. Customer Responsibilities

By requesting our services, you agree that:

  • You will provide accurate vehicle, tyre, and location details
  • You will ensure the vehicle is in a safe and accessible position
  • You will tell us about any known damage, locking wheel nut issues, or specialist requirements
  • You will not ask us to work in unsafe, unlawful, or dangerous conditions
  • You will ensure any personal belongings, pets, or vulnerable persons are kept clear of the work area

8. Safety and Right to Refuse Work

We reserve the right to refuse, delay, stop, or cancel work where our technician reasonably considers that:

  • The location is unsafe
  • The vehicle cannot be worked on safely
  • The wheel, tyre, nut, or part is excessively damaged
  • The work requested is not suitable or lawful
  • Required parts are unavailable
  • There is threatening, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour

We will not be required to carry out any service that, in our reasonable opinion, would create a safety risk.

9. Tyres, Repairs, and Product Suitability

Tyres supplied by us are selected based on availability and the information provided by the customer and/or identified from the vehicle. It is your responsibility to tell us about any manufacturer requirements, specialist fitments, or vehicle modifications.

Puncture repairs are only carried out where the tyre is, in our technician’s professional judgment, suitable and safe to repair. If a tyre is not safe or appropriate to repair, replacement may be required instead.

Where goods are supplied to consumers, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 implies statutory standards, including that goods should be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described, and that certain liability to consumers cannot be excluded. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}

10. Service Standards

Where we supply services to consumers, we will carry out our services with reasonable care and skill as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}

11. Payments

Payment is due when the service is completed unless we agree otherwise in writing.

We may accept payment by cash, debit card, credit card, or other methods we make available at the time.

If payment is not made when due, we reserve the right to recover the amount owed and any reasonable costs of recovery permitted by law.

12. Cancellations and Consumer Rights

If you book by phone, online, or away from business premises, your contract may be covered by the Consumer Contracts Regulations. These regulations generally require certain pre-contract information and may provide a 14-day cancellation period for many distance and off-premises service contracts. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}

However, if you ask us to begin the service during that cancellation period, and the service is fully performed with your agreement, your cancellation right may be lost once the service has been completed. If the service has started at your request and is then cancelled, you may still be required to pay for the part already carried out. :contentReference[oaicite:3]{index=3}

Because our services are often urgent and requested for immediate attendance, you expressly request that we may begin performance before the end of any applicable cancellation period where you ask us to attend promptly.

13. Missed Appointments and Call-Out Charges

We reserve the right to charge a reasonable call-out or wasted attendance fee where:

  • The information provided was materially inaccurate
  • The vehicle is not present or accessible
  • No one is available to authorise the work
  • The customer cancels after the technician has already been dispatched or arrived
  • The location is unsafe or unsuitable due to circumstances not caused by us

14. Warranties and Guarantees

Any manufacturer warranty relating to a tyre or part is subject to the manufacturer’s own terms, conditions, exclusions, inspection procedures, and fair wear and tear limitations.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions removes or limits your statutory rights.

15. Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted. Consumer law also restricts the use of unfair terms, and unfair terms are not binding on consumers. :contentReference[oaicite:4]{index=4}

Subject to the paragraph above, we are not liable for:

  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, stock issues, or events outside our reasonable control
  • Losses arising from inaccurate information provided by the customer
  • Pre-existing damage, corrosion, wear, modifications, or defects affecting the vehicle or wheel components
  • Indirect or consequential loss, where such exclusion is lawful
  • Business losses suffered by non-consumer customers, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded

16. Roadside and On-Site Working Conditions

Mobile and roadside work may be affected by weather, traffic, ground conditions, light, safe positioning, wheel condition, and access to the vehicle. We may delay, relocate, or refuse the work where conditions are not reasonably safe.

17. Website Use

We try to ensure that the information on our website is accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all content, service descriptions, pricing examples, coverage information, or availability details are always complete, current, or error-free.

You must not misuse this website, including by:

  • Attempting unauthorised access to the website or its systems

19. Privacy and Cookies

Your use of the website is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie information. UK privacy law requires clear information about cookies, and consent is generally required for non-essential cookies. :contentReference[oaicite:5]{index=5}

20. Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, accidents, breakdown of transport, supplier shortages, strikes, public emergencies, telecommunications issues, or other force majeure events.

21. Complaints

If you are unhappy with our service, please contact us as soon as possible using the contact details on this page. We will try to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. The terms in force at the time of your booking will generally apply to that booking.

23. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you will also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
